CHAPTER ONE: Obama
On May 28, 2008, six months before the election, I sent Barack Obama a letter through Oprah Winfrey stating three predictions:
"(1) You will win the Democratic nomination and become President; "(2) You may, as a result of your victories, be assassinated but that danger can be prevented; "(3) You can, as President, prevent an otherwise nearly certain nuclear terror attack."
"It comes from a source that predicted you would be President before the first vote was cast in Iowa," I told Obama citing the first primary on January 3, when he was practically unknown and given no chance.
"I am sending you this letter through your friend Oprah Winfrey because it may not reach you through regular channels," I wrote. "Also Oprah knows me and she knows the source of my information.
"A world-famous Israeli mathematician has discovered a code in the Bible that predicts events that happened thousands of years after the Bible was written."
On November 4, 2008 the first of the three predictions came true.
Barack Obama became the first African-American to be elected President of the United States, an historic and improbable event that was encoded in the Bible more than 3000 years ago.
Obama's victory was new, dramatic confirmation of the reality of the Bible Code, the secret text hidden in the Old Testament that reveals the future.
"I cannot explain how," I wrote Obama. "I am not religious.
"But I believe the code for the same reason many top intelligence officials do — it keeps coming true."
The code had already predicted the elections of Bill Clinton and George Bush. It had already predicted the assassinations of both John and Robert Kennedy, and Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Every detail of September 11, 2001 was encoded in the ancient text. The rise of Osama Bin Laden, the fall of Saddam Hussein, both Gulf Wars, were all in the code.
Everything, from World War II to Watergate, from the Holocaust to Hiroshima, from the Great Depression to the current global economic crisis, was encoded in the Bible.
